Who we are

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit the audit or contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number, website address and message you enter. We do not ask for payment details through this website.
• Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps) and any analytics or advertising cookies described below.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare the audit or proposal you asked for.
• To deliver and support services you have engaged us for.
• To keep the website secure and working, and to understand how it is used.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Where the law requires a lawful basis, ours is your consent (when you submit a form) or our legitimate interest in running and securing our business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without asking you first.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use analytics and advertising cookies (for example Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel) to measure traffic and campaign performance. Those services set their own cookies and receive usage data under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but some measurement will be lost.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — our web host, email provider, form and analytics tools, and our accountants — and only as far as they need it. Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us so we can pick up the conversation where it left off. You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email contact@searchinvent.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and access to enquiry data is limited to people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold and will tell you if a breach affects your information.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
